Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue Private Workshop – For The Kids!
It is very important for all of us to connect with nature, the environment and learn about conservation. Particularly important for our youngest generation who have been exposed to a world of electronics early on, to put them down and get outdoors! In September we are bringing you an amazing environmental based outdoor workshop, rain or shine, to focus on wild animal conservation and recovery as well as environmental preservation and education. Drop your child off, run some errands and when you return they will have a wealth of new knowledge to share about wildlife rehabilitation & more! The mission of this organization is to rescue, rehabilitate and release. They do have animals that are used for educational purposes that your children may get an opportunity to meet.
When: September 23, 2017
Time: 9 am to 1 pm
Applicable to Ages: 6 to 12 years old
Location: Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue, Bowmanville, ON (Tyrone)
The cost is $20.00 per child. This must be payable to Mom Cafe before your spot is firm (payment via etransfer, paypal or cash in person) and before the event. We have limited numbers of spots we will have already financially covered. ALL of this money goes directly to the rescue to help in the recovery efforts of wildlife!
Ensure your child is dressed for the weather! Suggested to pack a reuseable water bottle and litter-free snack or two. Eat a hearty breakfast too! Please note this facility is not nut free and many of the animals eat nuts as a natural part of their diet.
To reserve your spot please fill out the form below for each child you want to register. We will contact you by email to arrange payment and firm up your child’s spot in the workshop! We will also send the exact address in your confirmation email.
Thank you for doing your part in the conservation and education of local and native species to our area!
